Hydration

The skin is the largest organ in your body, but it is the last to receive hydration and nutrients from your circulation. Staying well hydrated ensures your skin will get the water it needs. That means you need to drink water throughout the day. My rule of thumb is: if you go more than two hours without needing to tinkle, drink more water. Staying well hydrated is the first step to prevent dry skin. If you’re troubled by dry skin, make sure you are drinking enough water. When you are well hydrated and the skin is still dry, one of the next steps for skin health will probably address the problem.
